YMCA of Sequim

YMCA of Sequim The YMCA of Sequim Branch is part of the Olympic Peninsula YMCA Association. Strengthening community is our cause.

We strive to strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility programs. When you join the Y, you become part of a charitable organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Our impact is felt when an individual make

s a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.

In honor of Labor Day (and the current YMCA of Sequim Full Closure), all branches of the Olympic Peninsula YMCA will be closed tomorrow, Monday, September 7.

Labor Day has been celebrated in the United States since the late 1800s as a way to recognize and honor the contributions, achievements, and hard work of American workers. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to pause, recharge, and appreciate the people who help make our communities strong.

We hope you enjoy the holiday and take some time to relax, connect with family and friends, and celebrate the strength of our community. Labor Day will be the last day of the full closure, resulting in returning to our regular scheduled hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

"Sports are important in kids' lives because they can learn discipline, rules, how to work with others, follow instructions, and apply everything in a meaningful way. They learn how to be a good teammate and a good friend."
-Shane, 9-11 Flag Football Coach

And that's a wrap on the YMCA Summer Flag Football Season. From every touchdown, run, and laugh, we had the best summer with all our athletes, coaches, and parents.
