IVWC Lil Irish We would like to introduce you to Illinois Valley Wresting Club. We encourage & welcome boys and girls, ages 4-14, to come give the sport of wrestling a try.

Practice will be held at SHS. There they will be shown the basics in a fun and safe environment.

SUMMER CAMP!

We would like to invite all IVWC and students who will be attending SHS for our annual Irish wrestling camp. Camp dates are June 1st-3rd and June 11th &12th, 1:30pm to 3:30pm at the Seneca HS wrestling room (The House that Yegge built). There is zero cost to attend this camp.

Congrats to our 2 girls who competed at Freestyle State this weekend at Oak Forest HS. Raelynn Beck got 3rd at 8u 50 pounds and and Sarah Kurtz was the runner up at 10u 73 pounds.

Wrestling is the toughest sport out there and these girls are committed to competing year round. We're proud of you young ladies for doing the hard things.

Lil Irish had 2 state qualifiers for the 25-26 season

Sarah 72lb Intermediate girls fought hard and made it to the blood rounds on day 2, but came up one match short to receive a state medal. She was in a tough bracket being a younger one.

We can't wait to see how this team grows mentally and physically.
