Great night of racing… brought only the flats tonight and both kids did amazing 🤩 they both had 3rd place finishes in their classes. Avery blew up her motor 🫣 but thankfully her bestie Paige Minter came through with a spare motor to finish the night. Thank you Paul Minter for helping us out tonight.

New Karts👉🏻new classes. Drake moved up from Jr 1👉🏻 Jr2 for his champ kart and started in Jr 2 for his new flat. Avery moved up from Jr 2👉🏻Jr 3 and also started in Jr 3 for her new flat. Both kids racing up age groups for their age. They both had a great night. Drake finished 4th in champ and 5th in his flat. Avery finished 2nd in her champ and her flat was a little bit of learning experience. She was driving a little too aggressive her first heat and was involved in a few wrecks (no more pretty new kart). Her 2nd heat she didn’t finish due to her kart breaking. We didn’t think we would have time to get it fixed in time for feature but we had lots of help and got it back up. She started last and raced her way up to 6th! We only had one class in between all 4 races every time so unfortunately we won’t be bringing all 4 karts every weekend it was just too close together for dad and mom to even get the kart lifted on the stands after each race. So the kids are going to have to choose which kart to bring each race. Super proud of the kids and can’t wait to see how the season goes. They get better every time.

Been keeping a little secret…. Both kids will be racing their new flat karts for the first time at opening night at K3 Karting. Racing starts at 5:00 if you want to cheer the kids on. We got all 4 karts in the trailer so should be a fun night.

Took a trip down to Miller Raceway this weekend. Kids had fun, learned a lot from racing a new track and some new competition. Avery finished 4th, Drake 5th. Avery is a little disappointed she thought the white flag was the checkered so she slowed down and got passed and ended 4th but that’s ok she did great. Also kids are coming home with new flat karts… stay tuned ☺️
