Valor Athletics was founded in 2006 by current owner, Jim Vanderbleek. Valor Athletics manufactures a line of fitness equipment called Valor Fitness.
(340)

After spending 25 years in the fitness retail/product development sector, Jim decided to walk away from a multibillion dollar company to focus on his family. Leaving a nationally known sporting goods company in Denver, CO and driving across the USA without a job took a form of “personal bravery” and that is how the name Valor came about. Add the word Athletics which represents the lifestyle we strive for and now you know the rest of the story. The Corporate Office is located in St. Petersburg, FL. Product quality is between retail big box stores and full line commercial grade. Our specialty is supporting the individual looking to outfit their personal fitness center with quality equipment at an affordable price. So, what’s in a name? To Valor Athletics, our lifestyle is in our name.

The slide of a plate onto the bar? The click of a collar? Chain links? The pin dropping into the weight stack? We recorded a few of our favorites, but we know we didn’t get them all.
