We’re getting ready for what we hope will be one of our BIGGEST Homecoming Parades yet, and we still have spots available! 💚🏹

This year’s theme is ✨ ONCE UPON A HOMECOMING ✨ think storybooks, magic, fairytales and all the Disney vibes!

And making this year even more special, we are honored to have Coach Mike Snyder, Oklahoma’s winningest high school football coach, and his wife, Glenda, serving as our Grand Marshal & First Lady of the Parade! 🏈👑

Now we need YOU to help us fill the streets of Seminole!

🏈💚 A HUGE CHIEFTAIN THANK YOU! 💚🏈

We want to give a BIG shoutout to Pedro and Cazadores in Wewoka for taking such incredible care of our Seminole Chieftain Football team during their film night last week!

Pedro generously fed our ENTIRE high school football team and when we say the boys loved it, we mean they were going back for seconds AND thirds! 😂🙌

Everything was absolutely delicious, and we are so grateful for people like Pedro who go out of their way to support our athletes and make them feel special.

Pedro, THANK YOU for feeding our boys, supporting Chieftain Football, and being so generous to our team! We appreciate you more than you know! 💚🤍

And Chieftain fans, if you’re ever in Wewoka and hungry, be sure to show Cazadores some love! 🌮💚

🏐💚 FIRST TOURNAMENT. FIRST WIN. LET’S GO, LADY CHIEFTAINS! 💚🏐

Our Varsity Volleyball girls were up bright and early Saturday morning, hitting the road for their first tournament of the season! ☀️🚌

Three games, lots of great volleyball, plenty of hard-fought points, and best of all… THEIR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON! 🙌🔥Beyond that first W, our girls gained valuable court time, worked through some tough competition, built confidence, and came home with even more experience to carry into the season ahead. 💪🏐

And they’re JUST getting started! 👀💚

Chieftain fans, make plans to get in the stands this season and support these girls! Bring the family, wear your green and white, get LOUD, and come watch our Lady Chieftains battle it out on the court!

And a BIG shoutout to our Seminole Athletic Boosters for helping send our Varsity Volleyball girls off in true Chieftain fashion! Before heading out for their first tournament Saturday morning, each player received a First Game Goodie Bag put together with a little extra love from our Athletic Boosters!

It’s a Chieftain tradition like no other! This FRIDAY NIGHT, August 14th, our Varsity Chieftains are taking the field and taking on… EACH OTHER! 👀🔥

Come out, pick a side (💚 GREEN or 🤍 WHITE), and get your first look at the Chieftains as we get ready to kick off another football season!

With the August heat doing what August heat does 🥵, our start time will be determined based on the heat index and the safety of our athletes. We’ll post the official start time closer to Friday, so keep an eye on our’s and the school’s page!

🍉 AND WE’RE KEEPING A CHIEFTAIN TRADITION ALIVE, AND SHARING IT THIS YEAR! One of our favorite Green & White traditions is the Seminole Athletic Boosters serving cold watermelon to our Chieftain football players after the scrimmage. There’s just something about football, an August night, and watermelon from the back of a pickup truck. 💚🏈🍉 And don’t worry, boys, your watermelon is already spoken for! 😂 We’ll have plenty set aside specifically for our players. In addition, this year, we’re bringing EXTRA because we want our Seminole students to get in on the tradition, too!

So grab the family, bring your the fresh and clean goods, wear your GREEN OR WHITE, and come cheer on BOTH sides of the ball as we get another Chieftain football season rolling!

WELCOME TO CHIEFTAIN COUNTRY, COACH BRADLEY! 💚🤍

Seminole Athletics is excited to welcome Coach Eric Bradley to the Chieftain family as our new Football Defensive Coordinator and Girls Track Coach! 💚🏈🏃‍♀️

Coach Bradley comes to Seminole with more than two decades of coaching experience and an extensive background in football, track and powerlifting.

Most recently, Coach Bradley served as Head Football Coach at Ringwood from 2022–2025, leading the program to two playoff appearances. He also served as head powerlifting and track coach, coaching two Oklahoma Girls Powerlifting State Champions, a state record holder and multiple state placers in powerlifting and track.

Before Ringwood, Coach Bradley served as Head Football Coach at his alma mater, Wewoka, from 2018–2021. During his tenure, the Tigers posted a 24–19 record, made three consecutive playoff appearances and tied a 54-year-old school record as undefeated district champions.

His coaching career has also included stops at Paris, Texas; Dickson; Altus; Western Heights; Wagoner; Wewoka; and NEO A&M Junior College. Throughout his career, Coach Bradley has coached nearly every side of the game and has served as both an offensive and defensive coordinator.

A 1993 Wewoka graduate, Coach Bradley was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and track, earning All-State Football honors in 1992. He later attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, earning his degree in Health and Physical Education.

We are excited for Coach Bradley to bring his experience, knowledge, competitive spirit and passion for developing student-athletes to Chieftain Football and Lady Chieftain Track!

Great athletic programs are built by people who invest in kids, believe in their potential and take pride in the name across their chest. We’re excited to have another coach ready to do just that here at Seminole.

🏀 Please join us in welcoming Coach Tyler Turpin to the Seminole Chieftain family as our new Head Girls Basketball Coach for both Seminole High School and Middle School!

Coach Turpin was raised in Lima, just outside of Seminole, and is a proud graduate of New Lima Public Schools. He earned his Associate’s Degree from Seminole State College before completing his Bachelor’s Degree at East Central University.

Before beginning his career in education, Coach Turpin served in law enforcement. For the past eight years, he has dedicated himself to teaching and coaching basketball, making a positive impact on student-athletes both on and off the court.

Coach Turpin and his wife, Amanda, have one daughter, Eden, and are excited to become part of the Seminole Chieftain community.

We’re thrilled to have Coach Turpin leading our girls basketball programs and can’t wait to see the future of Lady Chieftain Basketball under his leadership.

🥎 Please join us in welcoming Coach Destiny Tiger back home to the Seminole Chieftain family as our new Assistant Softball Coach!

A proud Seminole High School graduate, Coach Tiger is returning to the program that helped shape her as both an athlete and a person. She is entering her third year of coaching high school softball and is passionate about giving back to the school and community that means so much to her.

Coach Tiger is excited for the opportunity to help our student-athletes grow both on and off the field, compete with confidence, and develop a lifelong love for the game.

We’re thrilled to welcome Coach Tiger back to Seminole and look forward to the impact she’ll make on our Lady Chieftains softball program.
