I can also make custom flags, like Thin Blue Line/EMS/ARMY green/gray "backwards"/Rainbow Stripes and probably anything else you can imagine. It takes about a week to go from board to finished product as I have to Source the wood/rip the board into strips/treat the strips/arrange the pattern/paint the strips/glue them and let cure/any additional detailing/carve the stars by hand (NO MACHINES other than my Dremel) and then coat with at least 4-5 layers of Spar Uethane which makes them weatherproof/waterproof/UV fade resistant so they will WOW for a lifetime and lastly add the hanging hardware. All Lit Up flags need another 3 hours of work for modification (CAREFULLY drilling holes, installing lights, covering wire, routing out an insert for the battery pack to live in).

Its a process.

I had one more flag go to its new home last night...the little girl who picked the flag from my selection was VERY observant and hilariously honest with her opinion (that color blue is different/that one star has a line in it/that flag has slightly bigger stars). That kid will go far.

I'd love to have these all in their new homes by Christmas, though I'm keeping my prototype All Lit Up flag for myself. I always keep my prototype/proof of concept stuff for sentimental reasons. I did find new sets of indoor/outdoor/waterproof battery powered LED lights that have 8 flashing patterns so I can modify any existing flag in about 3 hours. The lights are supposed to arrive on Monday (4 sets). Please consider a locally sourced handmade with Love and Respect gift. These will WOW Veterans, First Responders or pretty much anybody. $100 for a US Flag, $175 for the All Lit Up flags which is honestly a lot less than I should charge because the WOW factor is off the hook. When they are not flashing they look awesome, too. I can make them with plug in mini-lights too, but there's the issue of having the electrical cord that has to be plugged in which, if you dont mind, looks pretty awesome, too, especially if you have an outlet that the flag can hang in front of so the cord doesn't have to be exposed.
