If you are looking to maintain your weight through the holidays, here are a few tips: Choose water: those liquid calories add up fast. Don't go to a gathering hungry: you will tend to make worse food choices. Don't pick: it's a lot of fun to pick on your family during the holidays, but it really adds the calories... Just kidding: don't stand around and nibble while you mingle. If you must pick, stick with veggies. Stand more: standing and moving around throughout the day can burn up to an extra 350 calories in a day. That's a pound in 10 days! Don't skip your workouts: holidays are busy, but make time for your workouts!
