Captain Chris & the crew on the Labrador put THREE fish on the 2026 Wall of Fame: • 18 lb King • 20 lb King • 78 lb Halibut for a first-time fisherman 🤯
Meanwhile Captain Dustin on the Northern Goose smashed the Seldovia Fishing Adventures Lingcod record with a monster 51-pounder — the first Lingcod that angler has ever caught!

The ladies have been absolutely stacking the boat with fish! 🎣

We’ve been fortunate to welcome so many women out on the water this season, and we love seeing more ladies learning new skills, making incredible memories, and bringing home wild Alaska seafood for their families. There really is something special about catching your own dinner—nothing beats fresh-caught!

“I’ve never really fished before…”

We hear that more often than you’d think, and honestly? That’s one of our favorite things.

Julie traveled all the way from upstate New York to fish aboard the Labrador with Captain Dustin and deckhand Gabe. Even though she came in with little fishing experience, they didn’t just hand her a rod and hope for the best. They took the time to explain what they were doing, why they were doing it, and how it all works—turning a fishing trip into a learning experience.

You don’t have to show up as an expert. You just have to be willing to try.

There’s something pretty special about stepping outside your comfort zone, learning a new skill, and making memories you’ll carry home long after the fish are filleted.
