Good morning Elk Members, I would like to start this email by saying thank you. Thank you for allowing over 200 of the best junior players in the state to take over your club for the past three days. Thank you to the members who volunteered and went the extra mile to ensure that we hosted a well communicated and organized event for Washington Junior Golf. The success of this event over the past three days would not have happened without your support and efforts.
I am pleased to report to you all that we got a '5 Star' rating. From every player, parent, grandparent, spectator and state official... we as a club crushed it!Throughout the weekend we received non-stop compliments on course conditions, professionalism and friendless of the staff and overall welcoming experience.
At the end of the award ceremony last night, something really special happened. The girls state champion, Niuniu Zhao, a sophomore at Redmond High School came into the pro shop to thank us for hosting 'the best junior tournament' she has ever played in. From course conditions, the staff and feeling 'like she belonged' made her state experience very special. Before she left, she signed her state championship trophy and gave it the club as a way of saying thank you to all the members. This trophy will be on display for all to view in the pro shop. Congratulations to our staff for providing a great experience to this special event and again to our membership, thank you!

Just a Reminder for the Only Weekend of the year, we will be closed to Membership Play!

well why you may ask?? Because for the Seond Year in a Row the Yakima Elks will be hosting the WSJGA Championships! With nearly 270 Juniors vying to become a WSJGA Winner, we also want to Thank You - The Members for your patience this weekend as we will be playing host to those Junior Players ...

Back to normal play Monday and through the week!!

Good Luck Guests and remember to Sign In at one of 3 locations! Pro shop, Main Office or Restaurant!!!

We hope you all had a Fantastic Memorial Weekend and as we look ahead into June just a reminder of the 2026 WJGA State Championships taking place here at the Lodge June 1-7th ....

Members volunteers could be needed all weekend! Just a reminder we will be closed for normal play Friday Saturday and Sunday for the 2nd Year of this Great Tournament to come to the Valley and be held at the Yakima Elks Golf Course!! A small sacrifice for our members will make forever memories for a great group of State Golfers here in Washington!!!! Good Luck!!
