🩷 Member Spotlight 🩷

Hi everyone! My name is Sharron Rice, and I’m 68 years old. A year ago, I was diagnosed with leukemia, which led to a month-long hospital stay followed by eight months of chemotherapy. During that time, I lost a lot of my muscle strength and felt very out of shape.

About a month and a half ago, I started working out at Amika, and I cannot express how much of a difference I’m feeling! My strength is returning, and I’m able to get up and walk more easily. I’m so grateful for my amazing instructor, Trina, who has been incredibly supportive throughout this journey with me 🩷 ☀️

My motivation? I want to be there for my 7 grandkids and enjoy every moment with them.

Feeling stronger every day and excited for the progress ahead!

We love you Sharon keep up the good work!!!

We have so many exciting things happening at the studio this month and wanted to share all the goodness with you 💕 We are 6 MONTHS IN!!

🌅 We’ve added another Golden Hour class to the schedule — and we’ll soon be looking for volunteers to help with content for this so calling all our 60+ community! !
🧘‍♀️ Please help us welcome Amber to the Amika family!
She’ll be joining us as our new Yoga & Reformer Instructor, and we are so excited for you all to meet her.
🤍 We’re also excited to welcome Megan!
She’ll be leading our new Prenatal & Postnatal Reformer Classes 👶✨ We'll be looking for volunteers for content for this class too! Calling all pregnant girlies
🔥 We’re also welcoming Dillon to the studio!
She’ll be leading: • A high-energy Hip-Hop Class
• A Guts & Glory praise-and-worship style workout featuring prayer and a Bible verse each class 🙌

I’m a classically certified Pilates instructor, recent medical school graduate, and women’s health enthusiast who believes movement should feel empowering, intentional, and accessible for every body.

I teach both reformer and mat Pilates and love creating classes that challenge you while still honoring your individual needs. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve mobility, reconnect with your body, or move through pregnancy/postpartum with support — I’m here for it.

I’m so excited to join the studio and can’t wait to meet you all on the reformer!
