💦 Splashpad Update at Park West 💦

We know the timing isn’t exactly spring break–perfect, but the Splashpad at Park West is currently closed for maintenance and repairs. Our crews are working to get everything back in tip-top, splash-worthy shape - our goal is to be operational hopefully by this weekend!🤞

Get ready to make a splash, Seguin! 💦☀️

The City of Seguin Splashpad at Park West is officially opening for the season on Friday, March 6, 2026 — just in time for some sunny spring fun!

Located at beautiful Park West, the Splashpad is the perfect place to cool off, laugh loud, and enjoy time with family and friends.

🕘 Hours of Operation:
Daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Grab your sunscreen, towels, and biggest smiles — the water is waiting! 🌊😎

We can’t wait to see everyone out there kicking off another splashing good season in Seguin!

❄️ Cold Weather Update – Park Restrooms ❄️

With freezing winter weather headed to Seguin this weekend, the City will winterize and temporarily close all public restrooms at city parks to protect plumbing during the hard freeze.

🚫 Restrooms will be locked starting Friday, Jan. 23 at approximately 3:00 p.m.
🕛 They will remain winterized and closed until around noon on Tuesday, after the hard freeze expected Monday night.

City staff will reevaluate weather conditions on Monday, Jan. 26 and provide an update if reopening plans change.

This temporary closure includes restrooms at:

Central Park
Park West
Seguin–Saegert Pickleball Courts
Starcke Park Bowl
Starcke Park Kids Kingdom
Starcke Park near the Large Pavilion and Little League fields

Join us this Friday night, June 13, for a free movie in the park at Park West! Moana will be showing on the big screen starting at 8:45 pm.

Come early for fun activities from 7 to 8:30 pm - meet Moana, get your face painted and make a flower lei.

Don't forget to bring lawn chairs/blankets, snacks and drinks. Food trucks will also be available.

Don't miss a free movie in the park, happening TONIGHT (April 11) in Park West! Featuring the family-friendly feature presentation "IF", our movie in the park event gets underway at 8 pm.
