Mass Attack Roller Derby is a local roller derby league and non-profit organization. Founded in 2010, our league has grown into a family of more than 50 members from the local area who are educators, nurses, firefighters, scientists, mothers, and businesswomen from all walks of life. Our territory, or home base, spans Southeastern Massachusetts, and the South Coast; including the cities of Plymout

h, Attleboro, New Bedford, Taunton, Fairhaven, and Fall River. We travel throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic states challenging other teams and look to expand our national game schedule. As a league, we value community involvement and promote local organizations at each of our games. We skate out of Teamworks Seekonk in Seekonk, Massachusetts.

A loving 40 whacks to Albany All Stars Roller Derby and Western Mass Roller Derby for playing in our Second Annual Lizzie’s Legacy Tournament this past weekend! A special congratulations to Western Mass RD for being the winner of the day!! 🏆

We had a blast, and would like to think Lizzie was with us all there in spirit. 😊🪓

As always, an extra big shoutout to our officials, NSOs, and volunteers, whose hard work makes every bout day possible. We couldn’t do this without you. 🫶

Our LAST GAME 😱of 2026 is in TWO WEEKS on September 19th against Providence Roller Derby !! Details to be posted within the next few days, we hope to see you there and to celebrate another great season of derby!

🎨 🛼Roll into the New Bedford Library with MARD on September 10!

We're working with newbedfordlibraries to host a children's reading and craft night, in conjunction with Downtown New Bedford's monthly AHA Night!

Visit the library’s Youth Services for a reading from "Roller Girl" by Victoria Jamieson, a New York Times bestseller YA graphic novel about roller derby, from some of your favourite MARD skaters and then get creative with derby-inspired arts and crafts.

✨ Decorate your roller skates

✨ Create stickers featuring the skaters

We're also raffling off a FREE copy of the graphic novel "Roller Girl" and tickets to our final home game of the season Sept 19th!

This is a FREE event, open to kids of all ages, don’t miss the fun! 📚

This is your next chance to sign up to skate or volunteer with MARD.

No experience? No gear? No problem! We’ll set you up that night with gear to get you going and teach you what you need to know to get on the track. 🛼

Derby isn’t just skating; It’s the volunteers, NSO’s and officials that help make games happen. We need everybody! This can also be a great place to start if you don’t know what you want to do but know you need some derby in your life, and we can’t wait to see you at our new recruit night!

Lizzie Borden was born this day in 1860 in Fall River, which makes her….. well, let’s just say she’s young in spirit that the Bloody Bordens carry on today!

We owe her a lot, if only there was some way to celebrate…..

Play Arcade is open for children of all ages during the day so bring the whole family!

Tomorrow we’re rolling into the New Bedford Cape Verdean Recognition Parade! 🎉

Catch us along the parade route with Reggae on West Beach, starting at 12:00 PM at Buttonwood Park Zoo and wrapping up at the Cape Verdean Veteran’s Memorial Hall (561 Purchase Street).

Come celebrate with us as we honor the rich history and contributions of the Cape Verdean community in one of New Bedford’s signature summer traditions! 🇨🇻✨

Come hang out with us in Downtown New Bedford on Sunday July 12 from 1 PM onwards while we play some games, eat some good food and drink and talk all things derby. Play Arcade is all ages until 8 PM so you can stop by with the whole family!
