Coach's Corner
Topic 104: SWISH League
- What is it?
A recreational league with two divisions (Silver & Gold) played in Skagit County for girls 4th-8th grade during the Fall season..
- Who should play?
Kids who want to practice 2xs a week with a team and compete in 11+ games with refs and score boards. Team bonding, friendships, and confidence build over time.
- Why should we sign up?
Three months of basketball with one team in a league that's been around for a while..
Players learn fundamentals of the game and get lots of game time playing TEAM basketball.
- Why Wild Things?
We build up coaches and players so the community competition can elevate. Players get reversible jerseys, shooting shirts, bag tags, & community involvement opportunities. We set it all up for coaches - picture day, fundraising, team parties, & scrimmages.
