Good Morning Sedona Gun Club,
We hope this update finds you all well and you are enjoying your summer. Things are looking good for our July meeting, here are the details:
Saturday July 30th
9am-11am
Location:
https://goo.gl/maps/TpkQU1Qi4Movs8Rf9
(Located at Cypress Trailhead, at the end of Dry Creek Road - on the left side of the road there is an entrance)
The format will be the same- Kim will be doing a discussion on "Carrying a firearm in a high volume environment":
"There is a high level of responsibility when carrying in public, especially in environments where there is a large number of people. These types of events require a higher level of awareness in order to perceive a threat, a higher level of accuracy if you have to engage a threat, and a higher potential for injured victims that will need medical attention. Active shooters seek to achieve the most harm in the shortest amount of time and therefore look to high volume events as targets."
Many group members have had the opportunity to train with Kim and we greatly appreciate her taking time away from her family and coming back over to West Sedona to work with SGC members. For those of you planning to work with Kim on Saturday please show a little love ;) (Any donations would be welcomed, in order to help out with a babysitter while she is volunteering her time for our community.)
I (Larry) will be working fundamentals with the beginners and Kim will start out doing a similar review and then progressing. Also, we want to give thanks to Steve Snowden for always helping to keep things safe and moving along- Thanks Steve! Your help is greatly appreciated.

As many of you know, by trade I am a Personal Trainer and my wife, Diana, is a Physical Therapist. We are going to be offering a "Self Care/ Mobility" class, by donation, in our home Saturday August 6th at 9am. We will be covering how to use a foam roller and other self treatment tools, along with working individually with people's mobility issues. Space is limited to 6, so please email me to reserve your spot. If you have your own foam roller, please bring it with you.
Be Well, Be Safe,
Larry
