Morning after competition reflection.
First, our CFS community. No words can ever express how grateful we are for you guys. This is our 3rd year hosting Heroes in the Heartland and every year it just keeps getting better and better. Every year, we are complimented repeatedly on how amazing and friendly our judges and volunteers are. We put a lot of pressure on our judges, equipment crew, and other volunteers to keep things running smoothly, and boy do they deliver! Our members took parts or all of their day to come help us in so many different ways Friday and Saturday. From cleaning, set up, judging, running equipment around, guiding athletes on the obstacle course, and anything and everything in between, our members delivered. It is 💯 because of you guys that we are able to bring this competition to the CrossFit community every year. And I hope you always know how proud we are of you and how thankful we are to have such a wonderful CFS family.
Second, all the Heroes athletes. Thank you showing up year after year and making this such a fun event for us to throw. Nothing can describe the feel and the energy in the room when we have the competition floor full of incredible athletes. Our judges said multiple times yesterday how kind and how fun the teams were to judge, and that’s what it’s all about! So thank you again and we’ll see you next year!
