That's a wrapped! United Soccer League finished its 2022 summer competitive adult league. We had 9 teams to start off we finished off with Azteca FC winning the regular league games with 18 points & SFC Gorillas winning the playoff tournament out of 8 teams entering the tournament. THANK YOU teams that participated this summer. We have LOTS of thanks to give, Parks & Recs & their maintenance crew for letting us use their field & keeping the grass cut, team sponsors for supporting their teams, referees, Sedalia 200 for the renting of Jennie Jaynes Sport Complex, all photographers threwout the games, Melissa Burkhalter for volunteering to take photos during the finals at the HS, & the support of Legacy FC. THANK YOU for every help we got this summer. We want to give a big thank you as well to Stone Laser Imaging on 209 S Ohio Ave St, Sedalia, MO. They provided the trophies this year and they were absolute beautiful! THANK YOU!

Championship game results! SFC Gorillas vs Espolon FC, both teams looking to win the 1st place trophy in playoffs! SFC Gorillas played against a high energy team, Espolon FC needed to break SFC Gorillas back to back title run. It was a game not to miss! We had a good crowd come out and watch the championship game! Thank you for all that came out that beautiful evening. SFC Gorillas overcame the high energy Espolon FC had and secured the win! 2-1!! SFC Gorillas are United Soccer League Champion for 2022!! Thank you for both teams on giving their best! We appreciate the passion both teams have! We hope the best for both teams in the future! 🏆⚽️

After the two friendlies we started the 3rd place game! Embajadores (blue) vs Azteca FC (white), both teams battling to receive the 3rd place trophy, the winner was Embajadores 4-2. Thank you both teams for battling for 3rd. You guys both show good sportsmanship threwout the league & deserves nothing but respect! Congrats to both making this far! 🏆⚽️

Después de los dos amistosos comenzamos el juego del 3er lugar! Embajadores (azul) vs Azteca FC (blanco), al bos equipos peleando por recibir el trofeo del 3er lugar, el ganador fue Embajadores 4-2. August 7, 2022 we started our event with two friendlies, Morelia vs Azul y Blanco & Sedalia Sporting vs Legacy United. All teams came out and had nothing but smiles & excitement to be on a beautiful turf field. Thank you teams on giving your times this summer and we wish the best for the future for you all. ⚽️

El 7 de agosto de 2022 iniciamos nuestro evento con dos amistosos, Morelia vs Azul y Blanco & Sedalia Sporting vs Legacy United. Todos los equipos salieron y no tenían más que sonrisas y entusiasmo por estar en un hermoso campo de césped. HERE WE GO!! August 7 2022, one day event hosted by United Soccer League & support by Legacy F.C. We are inviting everyone to come & watch 4 games at the Smith Cotton High School Jennie Jaynes Sport Complex!! Free entry!! We wil start with two friendlies following up with the 3rd place game, ending it with the championship game & afterwards the award ceremony will begin! This is a day you can not miss!! Come out & support your team! ⚽️🏆

We would like to give congratulations to the team ended in 1st place in regular league play! AZTECA FC.
They fought hard to earn their 18 pts & 21 goals. Congratulations! ⚽️💯

Thank you for the rest of the teams that were apart of this table! We ended up going by most goals after 4 teams ended with 16 pts.
Embajadores: 28 goals
Espolon FC: 20 goals
Azul y Blanco: 20 goals
SFC Gorillas: 17 goals
Morelia: 18 goals
Sedalia Sporting: 12 goals
Legacy United: 4 goals.

After a intense Sunday of semifinals matches the results of both games are, we had 4 teams entering semifinals & two teams are advancing to the finals & 3rd place match.
1st match) SFC Gorillas vs Embajadores: 3-3 FT. PKS 3-1. SFC Gorillas win in PKS & advancing to the Championship match.

2nd match) Azteca FC vs Espolon FC: 4-2 FT.
Espolon FC advance to the Championship match.

Azteca FC & Embajadores will play for 3rd place!
