Please welcome Janna ElBakry and Samantha Maryash from University of North Carolina to our Memorial Weekend Camp at Alpha Fencing Academy!

Joining an already stacked lineup featuring Sophia Kovacs and Dagny Johnson, this is shaping up to be an incredibly competitive and high-level weekend of saber fencing.

Alpha Fencing Academy is excited to announce our special Memorial Weekend Short Camp from May 28 – May 31 in Johns Creek!

This unique joint training camp between Alpha Fencing Academy and the Tar Heels Fencing Academy will feature an incredible coaching and athlete lineup:

🏅 Olympic Coach Sherif ElBakry former Egyptian National Coach.
🏆 Sophia Kovacs – National Champion, February NAC 2026
🥈 Dagny Johnson – Junior Olympics Silver Medalist 2026

💲 Camp Tuition: $500

📅 Schedule:
Thursday: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Friday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Saturday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM & 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Please join us in welcoming Renad Eldoksh to Alpha Fencing Academy!

We are excited to announce that Renad will be joining Alpha practices starting June 10th and will also attend our Pre-Summer Nationals Camp from June 15th–25th.

Renad brings incredible international experience and achievements to our camp:

🏆 African Champion U15 Individual – 2020
🏆 African Champion Cadet Individual – 2022
🏆 African Champion Junior Individual – 2024
🥉 Bronze Medalist – Senior African Championships 2024

🌍 Renad has participated in 5 World Championships and was ranked 12th in the Cadet World Championships 2023 — a huge accomplishment on the world stage.

Her experience, intensity, and championship mentality will be an amazing addition to our Alpha Summer Nationals preparation camp.
