Just back from the Turkey Trot at Sebring, the opening race in the 2021 season with CFR. Won both of the races and had a ball racing with #163 Miata in the afternoon on Sunday. Wish I knew who the driver was so I could reach out and give a thumbs up.

Thank you Dave Green for pics of the 2020 season's final race

I am a little slow posting, but I am back from the runoffs and had a very successful week.
I set my fastest qualifying lap the first day and then progressively got slower. Found a dying wheel bearing, replaced that and set my personal best lap during the race (2:17). Exhaust pipe decided to unfasten its rear mount in lap 5 and hung in there (literally) all the rest of the race. The car sounded a little like a war chant going around the track, the extra back pressure and worry of losing it completely slowed me down a bit, but finished a respectable 10th.

Very pleased with the week, and a BIG THANKS to David Boles and his brothers Pinky and Ralph for all the help during the week.

Went to Roebling Road this past weekend. No pictures. Not my best weekend. Went out in the first qualifying on old tires, not been to the track in 8 years and it showed LOL. Qualified 5th and finished 5th. Sunday was better, new tires and some rust knocked off qualified 3rd and finished 3rd in a rain storm. Started on rains but unfortunately the weather was opposite of my tire wear. Had good rains during the dry part and worn out rains when it rained.

Good racing with great folks in our Club.

Thanks to David, Pinky and Ralph Boles, Jeff Linfert and Herb Shipp for help getting to the track and track side support
