We are exactly one month out from Highlands County's SECOND biggest race, and it is commemorating a big milestone this year.
Join us for the 32nd Annual Firecracker 5k, celebrating 250 years of our Nation's Independence!

To be held on Saturday July 4th at the Highlands Hammock State Park. Race starts at 8 a.m. Registration opens at 7 a.m.

This race always has a great turnout, and we want it to be the biggest one yet this year! You won't want to miss it, so be sure to sign up now and join the holiday fun!

We had such a great race at the Ridge Area Seventh Day Adventists Church in Avon Park. They did such a great job with organizing and provided lots a good snacks! Weather was great 🌤️ Hope to see more of you there next year! 🎉💪🏻🏃🏽‍♀️

If you read through our January newsletter, here is the hint we promised for the fun surprise coming to the 2026 Cattlewomen’s Run the Ranch Race. The water for this year’s race will be handed out to our finishers by a special guest star. 🤭 Join us on January 31st at Rafter T Ranch for a beautiful morning, and plenty of photo opportunities.
