Sertoma Junior Golf Tour

SJGT is a tour based in Highlands County that provides junior golfers ages 6-18 the opportunity to compete in tournaments throughout the summer.

I'm happy to announce that we are getting close to kicking off our 31st season! Here is the 2024 summer schedule. There is no need to pre-register your child for the summer. You can do that at the first event your child plays in. I will send out a sign-up email for each event, one week in advance. Once you see that email, just reply that your child is going to participate. If you are not on the email list but would like to be added, please send me an email at [email protected] requesting to be added.

The Annual Adult / Child Kickoff Classic is scheduled for Sunday, May 26th at Pinecrest Golf Club. It's a ton of fun and a great format to compete on the course with your junior golfer. See the flyer below for more details.

We are only a little over two weeks away from our Annual Adult - Child Kickoff Classic scheduled for Saturday, May 20th at Pinecrest Golf Club. If you would like to sign up for the event please email [email protected] with the names, ages, and handicaps of each player on the 2-person team. Should be a great time!⛳⛳

Unfortunately due to the heavy rain we have been experiencing, we have to cancel tomorrow's event at Placid Lakes. This event will NOT be rescheduled. We will now take the best 5 out of the first 7 event finishes plus the Tour Championship for the point standings total.

The Tour Championship will be played at Sun 'N Lake Golf Club on August 21-22. I will send out that sign up email soon. I want to be clear that anyone that has paid a summer registration fee can play in this event. However, only those kids that have played in at least 5 events plus the Tour Championship will receive a point standings trophy.

The dates for the Onsite Ag Services Championship at River Greens have been moved up one day and will be played on Wednesday and Thursday, July 21-22. Please update your calendar accordingly.

With the news that Harder Hall Golf Course is closing at the end of May we had to cancel our June 3rd event there. Event #1 will now be hosted at Sun 'N Lake Golf Club on June 10th.

I couldn't be more proud of all our junior golfers. They did a tremendous job competing this summer and I hope they will continue to work hard and get better, not only with golf, but in everything they do. Below are the pairing for Day 1 of the Sertoma Tour Championship at Sun 'N Lake Golf Club this Saturday, August 15th. We will be playing the Turtle Run course and each player will need to be at their designated starting tee 10 minutes before their scheduled start time.

Great job today to all of the kids. It's never an easy round when it gets interrupted by weather but I am very happy we were able to get back out there and complete the round.
