Dutch Dog Waterfowl the Dutch Dog Dutchess has been "barking" orders all weekend. She wants me to get more information out about custom calls. Currently we have all sorts of material available to make some truly unique calls! Our specialty is resin cast with various types of wood. We have a good variety of material on hand.

We can usually work with any type of material, so if you have some material on hand that you would like turned into a duck call, we can probably do it for you!

We can do just about any color combination, and have a variety of different inserts. Each call comes with a custom lanyard!

It has been a while since The Dutch Dog and I have posted. Duck Dog Dutchess has put her foot down and told me that it is time to get going again. So, by her orders, We are back. The Dutch Dog and I have been quite busy lately. I have been working my real job, and Dutchess has been grabbing the few ducks I manage to hit while hunting. (She says i need shooting classes)

Anyways, we are going to be busy this winter. We have made a bunch of call blanks this fall, and we will be turning them out in the next few months!

We have been asked a few times about prices. Currently, prices for the calls range from $56.00 to $70.00 + (depending on all the accessories and custom work) I am working on listing a few of the calls we have on hand, but I have found out that my current camera is terrible at taking pictures. (Trying to solve that issue soon)

I asked Dutch Dog "Dutchess" what she thought was a fair price...and of course she just wanted a "pop tart" as payment. (Her usual treat when hunting)...I am still trying to explain to her that making these calls costs more than a "pop tart" but she is having a tough time understanding that. I have promised to give her a treat for every call sold, she seems a bit more understanding now.

The boss of Dutch Dog Waterfowl - Dutchess the lab - wants me to list some more details about what we can do. (She is pretty bossy, so i expect she will be making me write a lot of posts)

Custom duck calls is our specialty. If you have some lumber lying around that you would like made into a duck call, we can do it. (Depending on the materials condition...obviously) if it is dried wood, great, we can do that pretty quickly. If the wood is a bit wet (or even saturated) well, it will take us a bit of time, but we can get that done too.

We have a nice list of really cool lumber in stock too. Including -
Cocobolo
Purpleheart
Greenheart
Wallaba
Ipe
Black walnut (some is really good)
Angelique
Local maple
Local bartlett pear
Local oak
Locust
And many more that i can not think of.

We have the ability to make just about any color you can possibly think of when it comes to the acrylic / epoxy. We can mix multiple colors to make a truly unique call. (Usually 3-4 colors max....any more colors and Dutchess says the call end up looking like Unicorn P**p) but, if you want unicorn poop....she says I have to make it for you.

The inserts - we make our own double and single reed (and they sound great) but if you don't trust Dutchess and her inserts, I can throw in an Echo insert for a little fee (7 bucks)

Prices start at 56.00 (call, insert, little black storage baggie that Dutchess insists i give out)
Additional echo insert 7.00
Lanyard 19.00 with a call, 25.00 without.
Display base (price varies based on material)
Some shiny bling bling on the call barrel 6.00 (unless i feel that it just needs it, then i throw it in for free)

Extra Dutch Dog insert and reeds 9.00 (when you find out how these calls sound, you might want em to upgrade all your other calls)
