Performing Flying Trapeze and Trampoline

“My circus journey started at 8 when I was inspired by seeing Alegria on vacation. I cycled through other sports until I was 14 and taught myself to flip with the hope that one day I could be in Cirque Du Soleil. My parents decided to put me in gymnastics and I quickly became a competitive elite level trampolinist and tumbler for 12 years.

My goals turned to Worlds and the Olympics so I could be scouted for Cirque, but my accumulating injuries just barely kept me from getting there. I discovered flying trapeze on a birthday trip to Club Med and immediately asked for a job. Within 2 months I was hired! I trained and performed through Covid, went to a trapeze summer camp, then came to Emerald City Trapeze Arts, one of the best flying trapeze schools in the world.

After some bouncing around, I came back to perform for the merge of ECTA and SANCA and officially moved back a month later. After training hard, learning more, and improving my flying for a few years, I was given the opportunity to run the Fly Program in October 2025!”
Why should people attend?

“Because it’s celebrating marginalized voices and communities!”

Performing Aerial Cube in SANCA’s The Pride Show 2026 | Worldwide Pride on June 12 & 13!

“I have been performing professionally for over 20 years in aerial, dance, and theatre. I believe movement is a powerful way to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into exact words. It has a way of cutting through a lot of the noise we have in our heads and allows us to experience ideas and perspectives on a different level. In creating pieces, I always start with "how do I want to tell this story? How does it make me feel?" Once that piece is put on the stage, I invite the audience to interpret it and take from it what they need.”

Flying trapeze came about 2 years later, when my sister & I tried it on an vacation and I was hooked right away. Flying trapeze/aerials has given me so many amazing opportunities & has brought so many incredible people into my life, I’ll never ever regret running away with the circus.”
