Setting up a racecourse takes an incredible amount of effort! Thank you to all of our SCKC families that came out the past two weekends to put in and take out lane lines and buoys.

Thank you for hosting another great race at the new TI' awh-ah-dees Park! We had a very strong showing from all of our masters, junior, and development team paddlers. Good to see some of our alumni too!

Up next we have our home race, the Eric Hughes Regatta, on November 8th, followed by the Frostbite training camp. Hopefully our theme won't be Frozen then ❄️

This past weekend, Soren raced at the Olympic Hopes Regatta in the Czech Republic, where he placed third in the C finals for both K1 1000 and K1 500! He also raced K2 and K4 500.

We are so proud of Soren for representing SCKC and the United States on the international stage. His hard work and dedication is an inspiration to his teammates, and we are so happy it is paying off for him.

Congratulations Soren, well done!

Big turnout (23!) for the Duck Island race today as the OHR camp came and raced with us.
