Shouts out to the TRUE rockstars!!! Holding it down at Tac Chuck had the support from Ron Weimer,Tim Coye,Noah Kandler,Jamie Cordova,Jason Dotson & Drew Dotson.
At RWM Dana Etienne,Robbi Drahos,Nicolas DeMercy,Daniel Ewing, & Ron Werner!
These guys were there Saturday most of the day in the hot sun & even Sunday during the battle of Seattle most of them 8+ hours.
An event this size & scope should of easily had triple that amount of volunteers,quadruple would have been even better,to relieve in 1-2 hour shifts. As well as help alleviate some of the concerns brought forth by the players.
Go to any A-tier in anytown USA w/285 participants 2courses/3 rounds with 2 tds & 11 volunteers & let me know how that event goes over.
Bottom line,quite honestly,we made history!! Here how & here are the facts:
**Largest event in the state to date
**Largest field of top tier players to ever attend a Wa dg event
**Most amount of added cash to any event (largely due to the 4 battle Benny’s Chuck Mintz ran like a champ & AM’s coming out in full force)
That as well as all new baskets at both courses,some new tee signs @ RWM.
Courses looked pretty top notch,also considering there were about 10 total volunteers,some multiple days,just working as hard as humanly possible to make it all go down prior to event.
Seriously as there is actually a moment to take a deep breath. I’m astounded by it all.
