Celebrating 30 years of operation in 2016, Alpine Ascents International, Inc. is a leader in the climbing industry and has been instrumental in setting precedent in the international guiding community. Our Kilimanjaro program consists of 2 routes. We offer the Machame Route in 7 days and the Lemosho Route in 9 days with a crater camp. Scheduled departures are offered late June-September and December- mid March.

Visiting the Northern icecap glaciers on our 9 day Lemosho climb. We spend the night in the massive crater floor of Kilimanjaro post summit, giving us time to explore areas typically not visited.

Huge congratulations to our 2023 Timmerman Climb to Fight team for reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro with 100% success! This amazing team of biotech professionals raised over $1 million dollars for cancer research at Fred Hutch Cancer center in Seattle.
My thanks to our awesome Tanzanian crew who worked very hard to support this team. It’s worth noting that our guide team on this trip had in excess of 1000+ summits of Kilimanjaro, including my 130+.
