We also work jointly with the UW IMA to host the Friday night open shoots.

All archery activity takes place in the UW IMA building, in the Archery room, when school is in session, except on holidays and finals week. Club Practices:
Mondays & Wednesdays 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Saturdays 3:00 - 5:00 PM

Open Shoots:
Fridays: 6:00-6:45, 6:55-7:40, 7:50-8:35, 8:45-9:30

- Divisions: Barebow, Olympic Recurve, Compound, Other.
- Qualifying rounds: November 10th and 12th
- Bracket competition: November 17th.
- Registration closes: November 9th.

This Saturday May 10th from 10am - 6pm, Husky Archery Club members can complete an in person session to become level 2 USA archery coach certified!

There is no coaching experience needed or cost to attend the session BUT you will need to become a USA archery member, complete online training, and complete a background screening which do have associated fees.

Our Story

Husky Archery Club is a registered student organization at the University of Washington in Seattle. We also work jointly with the UW IMA to host the Friday night open shoots. If you have no archery experience and would like to learn archery or join the club, come to a Friday night open shoot, during which we run multiple 1-hour sessions to teach you the basics of archery and range safety. All equipment will be provided. If you have archery experience (or have attended a Friday shoot) and would like to join the club, simply join a club shoot, and bring $40 for the club fee. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ All archery activity takes place in the UW IMA building, in the Archery room, when school is in session, except on holidays and finals week. Club Practice: Monday 7:00 - 9:00 (NO SHOOT on 1/20 and 2/17) Wednesday 7:00 - 9:00 pm Saturday 3:00 - 5:00 pm Open Friday Shoots: Session 1 - 6:00-7:00 pm Session 2 - 7:15-8:15 pm Session 3 - 8:30-9:30 pm

The open shoots are on a first-come first-serve basis. Please show up at least 15 minutes early for the best chance at getting a spot in the session. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Updated for Winter Quarter 2020.
