South Lake Union, here we come!

Ready to soak up the peak of Seattle’s summer? Street Scramble is a part of South Lake Block Party, where we’ll be serving up lunchtime fun exploring the South Lake Union neighborhood. Few neighborhoods have changed more in the last couple decades, so there is always something new to discover among the modern buildings, shaded courtyards, and scrumptious sidewalk eateries. And historic parks, landmark buildings, and public art still punctuate this bustling grid between the shores of Lake Union and downtown.

As always, your challenge—and opportunity—is to prospect for neighborhood treasures by finding as many point-valued checkpoints as you can before the time runs out!

Work up an appetite on the course, then come back for the awards ceremony and to hit the food trucks and beer garden (for those aged 21+).

THIS SATURDAY is a holiday favorite - Street Scramble at the Market!

Street Scramble at the Market is 2 hours and on-foot only (no 3-hour or bike option), so the course is especially compact. Expect to be able to visit a bunch of checkpoints in a relatively short distance! Also, in the spirit of giving, half of the proceeds go to The Pike Place Market Foundation, which provides vital services to elderly and low-income residents of downtown and welcomes us back each year to Pike Place Market.
