Join photographer & guide Roddy Scheer on a 2-hour paddle tour through Portage Bay and into the Arboretum’s Duck Bay focusing on photo opportunities! Tours leave Friday mornings at 10:30 am. We’ll look for houseboats, great blue herons, wood ducks, turtles and other curiosities of the Emerald City's inland freshwater waterways. Whether you have professional camera gear or just a smart phone, let Roddy guide you to the best spots for iconic Seattle city and nature pictures. Tours only run if a minimum of 6 guests sign up, and each one is capped at 12 people. Looking for a great summer job working on the shores of Portage Bay at Agua Verde Paddle Club? We are looking for dock attendees that can commit to sticking around for the whole summer (June-September) and working 25 – 35 hours per week. Length of shifts range from 4 – 8 hours per day over 4 - 6 days per week. We have a limited number of part-time positions available for 15 – 24 hours per week over at least 4 days.

We are open today (Monday 4/20/26) until 7 pm (last rentals leave dock by 5:30 pm) so get it while it's warm...Otherwise we will be closed Tuesday 4/21 and Wednesday 4/22 for marina maintenance. We will re-open with a BONUS DAY on Thursday 4/24, open at 11 am and closing at 7 pm, then stay open through the weekend and all day on Monday

Paddle In The Sunshine! It's a fine Thursday and we are renting kayaks all day long, last boats out of our docks at 5:30 pm and 7 pm close. Get it while you can. Also open Friday 11 am - 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday 10 am - 6 pm.

It's a perfect day for paddling! We've got the kayaks, the sun is shining, the blooms are out, the wildlife is voguing,a and the glistening waters of Seattle's inland waterway are calm. If you can scoot out on this beautiful Monday, get yourself down to our docks and we'll launch you out into Portage Bay for a peak spring Seattle experience. We close at 7 pm, with last rentals leaving our dock no later than 5:30 pm.
