SABR Latino baseball

SABR Latino baseball SABR's Latino Baseball Committee seeks to educate the public of the rich and illustrious history of the Latino contribution to the game of baseball.

The committee provides interesting research on many nuances in baseball's history. From Latinos in the Negro Leagues and professional baseball in the Caribbean, to the ever-growing number of Latinos in baseball today, there is much work to be done as we continue to explore new stories to tell.

Join the Baseball Heritage Museum in welcoming the baseball art exhibition, “Baseball Art as the Game’s Storyteller.” The exhibition features some of the best contemporary baseball art in the United States and Canada.

Each artist has created several pieces that tell a story, working in mediums from acrylic to watercolor, and digital to mixed media, that explore the myth and mystique of the National Pastime and the players who took to the field to build legends.

“Baseball Art as the Game’s Storyteller” runs from July 27th to September 30th at the historic Arcade Cleveland, 401 Euclid Ave, downtown Cleveland.

For inquiries, please contact exhibition curator Anthony Salazar [[email protected]].
