GearheadGuru Racing - #834 STR, 9900 GL A group of people connected by the need for speed The degree was conferred on December 19, 2012, and the racing continues.

While fulfilling requirements for the Systems Architecting and Engineering Masters degree program at the University of Southern California (USC), a practical and novel idea was formulated to incorporate the coursework of the degree program into a real-world application; specifically, to system architect and engineer a land speed race car, and attempt to set a land speed record over 200 mph at the

Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Who would have know that company sponsored education could be so much fun.

May 16 racing season at el mirage is quickly approaching. Remember to get your 2026 SCTA rule book, and pay attention to fire bottle certs (2-years) and safety belts (5 years, 3 years after 2 year cert). Made a little lifting fixture to store the roadster body while the work on the car continues.
