Seattle Flying Dragons Seattle Flying Dragon Boat Club paddles in Seattle on Lake Union and in Kenmore on Lake Washington After that, the annual membership fee is $120.

For those unfamiliar with the sport, dragon boating is a boat of 20 paddlers, a drummer, and a steers-person paddling to cross the finish line faster than their competition. It's a team sport in its purest form that encompasses the elements of power, speed, synchronization, and endurance. If you'd like to try the experience, join us for FREE 3 times. Happy Pride Month from the Seattle Dragon Boat Festival! 🌈🐉

Dragon boating is all about teamwork, community, and people coming together toward a shared goal, and we’re excited to celebrate those values both on and off the water this June.

This year, we’re launching our very first Pride Cup Jumble, a fun, collaborative race where paddlers can mix teams, meet new people, and celebrate the spirit of inclusion and community. No pressure, no intense competition, just good vibes, teamwork, and a chance to paddle together! 🚣‍♀️💖

Whether you’re racing, volunteering, cheering from shore, or joining the jumble, we’re grateful to have you as part of our festival family.
