Our story started over a

decade ago when my family and I purchased a small gym with the belief in mind that fitness is an integral part of living a healthy life. For the last twelve years we have owned and operated many different facilities under a franchise. In February 2017 we had the opportunity to branch out on our own and start PNW Fitness as a locally owned, family operated, home grown business. Our location is unique like nothing else I have experienced in the industry. Our members and their stories are nothing short of inspiring and it is a privilege to provide them a safe place, a support system, and a community that has significant positive impacts on their health and their lives. While members at Pacific Northwest Fitness enjoy a state of the art health club with top-tier amenities and the best fitness options available, that is not what we are most proud of. What we are most proud of are the people, our members and our staff. Our gym community offers you so much more than a place to burn calories or lift weights, although we do offer that too. It is the results driven, positive culture that really sets us aside in this industry and our team that differentiates us from all the rest! At Pacific Northwest Fitness you are more than just a member, you are part of our family and whatever your fitness goals may be, we will be with you every step of the way. What a day. 🌈🎧

Thanks to all of you, SETS N' SETS has already raised $1,350 for Lambert House! Every dollar goes toward empowering LGBTQ+ and questioning youth in our community, and that feels pretty incredible to be part of.

To everyone who tuned in, donated, lifted, and danced with us: thank you. You showed up and showed out for a cause that matters.

To our amazing lineup of DJs who brought the energy all day long, we couldn't have done this without you. You turned a regular Monday at the gym into something none of us will forget.

And a special shoutout to Danielle, who dreamed and organized this whole event, the freqnc_ crew, and Anthony + the rest of our team who brought it to life. This event was your vision, thank you for making it happen. πŸ’›

We're keeping the momentum going all month long! Our goal is $3,000 for Lambert House, and we're already almost halfway there. If you've been meaning to chip in, there's still time to help us cross the finish line. Every bit counts, and together we can get there.

SETS N' SETS: A Silent Gym Disco 🌈🎧

We're turning a regular gym day into something special, and it's all for a great cause!

On Monday, June 22nd from noon to 8pm, tune in while you train. We've got an incredible lineup of LGBT+ and ally DJs spinning every genre you can think of, all on silent disco headphones so you can flip between channels and find your vibe. Lift to house, stretch to disco, do your thing.

Every dollar raised goes to Lambert House, a local organization that empowers LGBTQ+ and questioning youth by helping them build leadership, social, and life skills. That's the whole reason we're doing this.
Here's how to join in:

🎧 Gym members tune in during your workout for a donation of your choosing
🎧 Non-members welcome too for a $15 donation
🎧 Come for an hour, come for all eight, it's up to you

Pull up, get a workout in, and dance a little while you're at it. Let's show up for our community and make some noise (quietly).

We asked: What pushes you to keep coming to the gym? πŸ’ͺ

Last week's boards were so real (some a little too real πŸ˜…). We had to do a tiny bit of trimming before posting this one. These boards are such a fun space, so let's keep things kind and respectful so we can keep them around!

The women's and men's boards both delivered, and the range is everything. We did notice a lot of the same themes pop up across both rooms: stress relief, mental health, community, and just feeling good in your own body. Turns out the reasons people keep showing up are more alike than you'd think.

Juneteenth is a reminder of how far we've come and why it matters to keep showing up for each other. Days like this are worth pausing to recognize, honoring the progress that was hard fought and making sure it isn't forgotten.

Last week's question: How do you show love to yourself? πŸ’›

One thing we love about these boards is that they remind us self-care doesn't have to look the same for everyone. Sometimes it's a bath. Sometimes it's forgiveness. Sometimes it's just giving yourself permission to be a real person.

And for the record, "taking LONG naps" is my personal go-to (Daniel πŸ˜‰).

We're a week into pride month and in case you've missed it, we're celebrating community, supporting local LGBTQ+ youth, and giving back through our Pride Month Donation Drive benefiting Lambert House here in Seattle.

Lambert House provides mentorship, support groups, meals, social connection, and life-changing resources for LGBTQ+ youth throughout our community. Every donation helps support those programs and stays local.
