Dear Swing It Seattle Community,
Incredibly it’s been nearly 5 years since pivoting to exclusively feature live music for all of our dances. The synergy we’ve formed between the dancers and local musicians is truly special. It is our intention to keep all of our dance nights filled with wonderful, swingin’ live music.
It’s also been 5 years of the same door pricing for Swing It Wednesday.
Between recent significant rent increases and a desire to better compensate the musicians, we’ll be raising the Swing It Wednesday door price to $18. In an effort to keep dance prices accessible, you can purchase Early Bird Tickets for $15. These will be available through our registration page up until 24 hours before each dance. As before, we encourage you to select the price that best fits your budget.
Pricing for Swing It Saturday has also been updated with Early Bird Tickets now available.
Monthly and Quarterly Dance Passes remain the best option for supporting our live music program. These passes will continue to offer significant discounts over the door price and Early Bird price.
All this said, we also know it’s a deeply challenging economic time for a number of our community members. We are committed to making our dances and classes accessible. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to discuss options if you need support.
