Through vibrant processions, parades, and stage performances, VamoLá brings to life the celebratory spirit of Brazilian Carnaval. While the emphasis is on SAMBA —"the essence of the Brazilian musical soul"— VamoLá offers a rich array of other music and dance styles from the Northeast of Brazil including the primal beats of Samba-reggae, Baiao and Maracatu. The first pagode classes are coming up *this week*, Thursday-Sunday. Everyone is welcome.

When: Thursday -> Sunday (evenings+weekends)
Where: Wallingford (contact us for the address)
Cost: $115-165 sliding scale for the entire class series, with Sectional packages available as well as Private Lessons
RECOMMENDED to attend at least 2 class days PER WEEK, but come to as MANY or as FEW as you like!

We are pleased to announce that Alexander 'Xande' Johnson will be teaching pagode in Seattle, starting next week.

When: Thursdays -> Sundays, April 27th -> May14th
Where: Wallingford (contact us for details)
Cost: $115-165 sliding scale for the entire class series

Xande will also be teaching sectionals (per-instrument or arrangement group lessons) and private lessons.
