The Eagles Lost it’s second game of 2026 Division A — So Close! 💔

It was a heartbreaking finish for the Afghan Eagles as we fell short by just 11 runs against Olympic Bears.

🏏 Olympic Bears: 230/7 (20 overs)
🦅 Afghan Eagles: 219/10 (19.5 overs)

We fought until the very end and came incredibly close to chasing down a big target. Although the result didn’t go our way, the fight, effort, and determination from the entire team were something to be proud of.

Not the result we wanted 💔🇦🇫, but a season we’ll always be proud of.

We finished our NWCL 2026 Century Cup campaign with a hard-fought 4-wicket victory over Twelves Cricket Club, ending the group stage with a 5-2 record.

Unfortunately, despite winning our final match, we fell just one point short of qualifying for the semifinals.

After suffering a tough defeat, Afghan Eagles🇦🇫🦅 responded the best way possible—with a dominant 9-wicket victory over OCS Supernova in the NWCL 2026 Century Cup.

A disciplined bowling performance restricted OCS Supernova to 105/9, before the Eagles chased down the target in just 13.4 overs.

Khyaldin Niazi led the charge with a brilliant 57 off 32 balls, while Tariq Zarghoon provided excellent support with 30 off 26 balls.

Afghan Eagles posted a commanding 178/3 in 20 overs, led by a sensational all-round performance from Khyaldin Niazi, who blasted 85 off 44 balls, including 4 fours and 6 sixes.
