WHY DO YOGA WITH ME?
I've been practicing yoga over 10 years and a few years ago decided to make it my profession. It has not been an easy path at first, transitioning from a corporate career and way of thinking to a holistic one, with a lot of uncertainties in the new industry.
But it has been the best path to be on. I studied yoga with many teachers, exploring multiple styles of practice, which eventually led me to a trauma-informed yoga style, which beautifully marries the ancient practices of the East and the newest scientific discoveries of the the West for a most wholesome approach to human health and wellbeing.
My curiosity and desire to know more about humans led me to become a holistic coach along the way and I'm currently working on obtaining a degree in psychology.
The more I learn of the importance of working with the nervous system to gain everything us humanswant in life - health, contentment, happiness, a state of thriving and genuenly enjoying our lives, the more I appreciate the wholesome tools of yoga that help achieve all that - physical movement (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), meditation.
I've tried so many things to better myself and my life. Yoga works. Simple as that. For myself and millions of people. And not in the way one may expect. As one practices yoga regularly, one learns how to fall in love with themselves and their life first. Then all else falls into place.
My yoga practice and teaching is not about achieving a certain body or level of fitness. Not about the fleeting excitement from making an impressive move, or achieving a certain look. It is about finding deep true happiness within. Comparable to that feeling when you have a purring cat in your lap on a cozy summer afternoon. Nothing significant is happening, but you feel so good, so peaceful, so still inside. That is the state we are after. Of course, all that is accompanied by a healthy body, achievement of which yoga practice also supports greatly.
If you are done looking for superficial ways to happiness, join me in exploring this beautiful practice. Yoga club is open. We start July 3. Link in bio.
You will meet your depth on your mat. I'll help find the way.
