On top of running the ball & playing solid, sound defense, there is nothing more that Coach Pete emphasizes more than minimizing turnovers. On 263 carries last season, Ken Walker only had 1 FUMBLE (2nd in the FBS w/ 1,636 yards). A versatile, all-around RB (needs to work on pass pro) that can break ankles and break tackles, he has the perfect combination of power, home run speed, & elusiveness. Steph Curry is unequivocally, undeniably, & undoubtedly a top 10 NBA player of all time. Let’s debate if you think otherwise!! Everyone praises the consensus guys in everyone’s top 10 lists for their dominance on the ball, but there’s something to be said about revolutionizing the game not only from 3, but OFF the ball as well. In addition, the Chef has won 4 titles (2 as the best player) in the MOST talented era in NBA history, not to mention having been the bus driver for one of the 5 best dynasties ever (4 titles & 6 NBA Finals in the last 8 seasons). Aside from cumulative stats (that doesn’t seem to stop Larry Bird from being in Top 10’s), Curry essentially has it all on his resume. What they gon say now?

As John Canzano reported recently, the NBA is expected to announce 2 expansion teams in Seattle & Las Vegas after its media deal expires after the 2024-2025 season. While there have been a few reports from NBA spokespeople denying these rumors, it’s looking more inevitable that Seattle will again house an NBA team for the 1st time since the Sonics bolted for Oklahoma in 2008 once the league expands.

No, Richard Sherman isn't nearly the athlete that Tariq Woolen is coming out of college. Not only that, their play styles are vastly different. However, that doesn't mean they don't have any parallels that connect them to each other! For instance, Woolen is also a WR-converted CB who came into the NFL raw & with limited experience at the position. Sound familiar? What about the fact that the two were LITERALLY picked 1 spot apart from each other in the same round? With that in mind, it begs the question. Can Pete Carroll, Sean Desai, Karl Scott, & the rest of the defensive coaching staff find a way to mold Woolen into the superstar cornerback that his traits hint at, ala the Richard Sherman transformation?

After finishing in the bottom 10 of the NFL in sacks in two of the last three seasons, the Seahawks CLEARLY must upgrade their pass rush. In addition to being a powerful & athletic specimen with ideal physical tools for an edge defender in the NFL, Johnson is also great against the run-making him a three-down defender at the next level. With the legendary Greg Cosell tabbing Johnson as the best pure pass rusher in this draft class after 3-5 years, the rising Johnson could be the crown jewel of this draft class. If you’re like me & miss Richard Sherman in Seattle, then you’re probably hoping ‘Sauce’ Gardner falls to the Seahawks at 9th overall in the NFL Draft. Perhaps ‘Sauce Island’ is the KEY to Seattle reenacting the LOB, given how dominant he is at CB. While the Seahawks have never spent a pick higher than 90th overall to take a CB, the ‘SAUCE’ is great enough to buck that trend, in addition to being a seamless fit in new DC Clint Hurtt’s “aggressive” & “less zoney” scheme all the while simultaneously bringing the same swagger & alpha dog mindset Sherm once brought to the table!
