I’m officially closing the doors to The Free Spirited Coach.
I’ve known this was coming for longer than I’ll probably admit, but it still feels strange to write it out.
There have been some amazing years. I’ve been honored to work with people I absolutely adore. I’ve coached, failed, succeeded, tried new things, created and dismantled programs and, my favorite, hosted incredible retreats. I’ve learned a lot about myself and witnessed some really meaningful moments in people’s lives.
I’m so grateful for all of it. And it’s hard to say goodbye to that.
I’ve spent the last couple of years doing consulting work inside businesses. And as I’ve gotten deeper into it, I’ve realized it lets me use so many of my skills and somehow makes everything I’ve done in my career make more sense.
It’s that feeling of Ohhh. THIS.
At first I tried to call it “business development consulting,” but that doesn’t really cover it.
I love getting inside a business and seeing how it actually works. Figuring out where things feel clunky or aren’t connecting. Spotting opportunities. Looking at where time, money and energy are being invested and whether they’re going toward the right things.
It pulls from so many parts of my background: business development, management, entrepreneurship, coaching and even anthropology.
Coaching taught me to ask better questions, listen for what’s underneath the first answer and navigate resistance. Anthropology taught me to look at context, culture and people before deciding I understand what’s happening.
Turns out, both are pretty damn useful in consulting. 😂
I’m taking all the good stuff with me. (Perhaps even retreats… 😉)
So it’s official. The Free Spirited Coach is closing and I’m moving fully into NISSA | Strategic Growth Consulting.
I’ll be working with service-based businesses to find the friction getting in the way of growth, uncover opportunities, figure out what actually deserves their time, money and energy, and partner with them as they grow.
It’s strategic, immersive and a little unconventional.
And it feels fan-f**king-tastic (and still a little scary!) to finally be stepping fully into the work that excites me most.
