Build Skills This Fall with NSB Academy

Fall baseball doesn't have to end when the season does!

The NSB Academy Fall Program is designed to help players ages 7–12 continue developing their skills in a fun, focused, and positive environment. Whether your player is looking to sharpen fundamentals or gain confidence before the spring season, our Sunday evening academy sessions are a great way to keep improving.

Program Details

⚾ Sunday evenings at the cages

⏰ 1-hour classes between 4:00–8:00 PM

👥 Ages 7–12, with players grouped by age (younger players earlier, older players later)

💰 10% discount for players registered for Fall Ball

Each session will emphasize quality instruction, repetition, and game-ready fundamentals in hitting, fielding, throwing, and overall baseball development.

Space is limited to keep coach-to-player ratios low, so be sure to reserve your spot early.

We'll also be offering stand-alone clinics in late February, with details coming later this winter.

We can't wait to see everyone back at the cages this fall!

NSB Shetland(TBALL) Fall-ball clinic
Join us this fall at the NSB cages for Shetland fall ball! These clinics are perfect for current or soon-to-be teeballers, and will include games, warmups, drills, and even a fun-focused indoor scrimmage to wrap the afternoon up.
As with all Shetland activities the focus of the workshop will be fun and development, and parents will be required to stay. Ballplayers should come with a water bottle and athletic clothing and shoes (no cleats), as well as a ball glove if they have it. All other gear will be provided by NSB, but if your ballplayer has their own helmet, bat etc they’re welcome to bring.
Families can sign up for one or both sessions, and the clinic is complimentary for NSB families.

When: Saturday October 17th and Sunday October 18th.

Time: 12:30-2pm

NSB FALL BALL 2026!

Fall Ball returns on Sunday September 7th and will consist of five games on Sundays (9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, and 10/11).
This year we are changing things up. Fall Ball will not include the weekday clinics. If you would like to sign up for additional training, please sign up for our Academies. You will be able to get a discounted package price. Please see the descriptions below.

***SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST***

You will have three options for signing up for our fall programs
Fall Ball Only(No Academy)--Players will have 5 games starting in early Sept. This year, there will not be any weeknight clinics--just Sunday games
Price $125

Fall Ball+Academy--Players participate in the same 5 Sunday baseball games. In addition, they are signed up for our 6 session Academy with professional coaches with a 4:1 player to trainer ratio. It begins Sept 13th and through through Oct 18th. All trainings are Sunday evening for 1 hour and players will be assigned to a group based on ages. Fall Ball players receive a bundle discount.
Price $295 (includes Academy and Fall Ball)

NSB is moving to a new registration system, Playmetrics. Playmetrics purchased our previous platform, and we're excited about the more user-friendly experience it offers — including a mobile app that lets you register, communicate, and follow your schedule all in one place.

What You Need to Do

About North Seattle Rainiers:

North Seattle Rainiers is a Non-Profit select baseball organization, based out of the NSB Indoor Training Facility. We provide a high-level baseball experience to players from the ages of 11U-18U.

Currently, we have 9 teams competing in spring leagues and tournaments across the northwest.

Our mission:

North Seattle Rainiers Select provides top quality Professional baseball training, coaching, and playing experience to those players and families who seek it. We select players for our program who are driven to perform at a high level on and off the field. It is our goal to develop players who are team-focused and who aspire to achieve success on their respective high school and college teams, and in their everyday lives. We employ trainers and coaches who have been selected not only for their baseball teaching abilities, but also for their high quality and positive communication skills.

Program basics:

4 Month Winter conditioning, catching and hitting training starting on November 1st at our indoor facility.

Indoor/Outdoor (long toss) training continues, starting in December.

Rainier’s 11U -14U teams begin games/tournaments in March, playing in the Top Tier League. These teams also participate in 4-6 tournaments during the season, including at least one out of town.

Rainier’s 15U-18U schedules are designed to accommodate the high school season. Games for these teams start at the end of the high school season (May), usually with all of our teams playing in Top Tier, along with 3-5 tournaments, at least one of them a travel tournament.

Program fees cover the costs of the full 4-month program of winter training with our professional instructors in our indoor training facility and outdoor fields in North Seattle, spring and summer league play, coaching fees, tournament fees, and full practice and game uniforms.

We encourage your players to try out for our program and see how they will advance in their baseball abilities, have a lot of fun, and benefit from the life lessons offered by baseball.

NSB and Rainiers parents: you are invited to participate in a fundraiser mixer for the parents/guardians of the players in our programs.

It’s a chance to:

· Reminisce about the great games played this season or seasons past, from Shetland tee ball to Bronco 12U and beyond!

· Meet NSB board members and coaches, get your youth baseball questions answered!

· Learn about the road ahead: meet and chat with parents whose kids are playing in older age groups!

· Enjoy a relaxing parent-only evening while helping keep registration costs manageable during a time of increased costs!

ATTENTION! Game time changed to 6:00pm because of Big 10 Network issues!

⚾ NSB Night at UW Baseball + On-Field Opportunities!

Join us for a fun night of baseball as UW takes on UCLA on Friday, May 15 at 6:00PM! We have a limited number of special pre-game experiences available for NSB players, including a behind-the-scenes tour of the UW baseball facilities and the chance to be “Anthem Buddies,” standing on the field with players during the national anthem.

Pre-game spots are capped at 40 participants and will be filled via lottery. If your player is interested, please email a short statement of interest including your child’s name(s) and team.

Your coach should have let you know when your team’s photo session is, but if you are looking for that information, please see below!
PLEASE arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure you can find your team, collect your uniform and hat and stay with your team.

Parking is LIMITED at Meadowbrook, so PLEASE arrive early to ensure you do not miss your scheduled photo time!

NSB will also have a snack stand and food trucks to provide you with game day essentials! Candy, gum, Gatorade will be sold at our table!
