s the head of AKA Monterey Bay. He and his family immigrated to Monterey when Christian started high school. At MHS, Christian was a standout wrestler recognized as MVP in the league, later finishing his wrestling career at San Francisco State University. Christian transitioned to jiu jitsu and then professional MMA as a member of team AKA. He also continued his education and earned his Juris Doctor credentials while landing a contract in the UFC®. After retiring from competitive MMA, Christian joined the Army as a judge advocate, serving at various duty stations and overseas assignments worldwide. Christian recently returned from an overseas tour to his hometown of Monterey, and launched AKA Monterey Bay with the blessing of Javier Mendez, AKA's head coach and founder.
