Today didn’t end the way we hoped it would, but these boys should still hold their heads high for how well they represented their league and city over the last 7 weeks. They started their all-star journey as 12 different individuals but ended it as teammates, and more importantly… friends. Their growth and success can 💯 be attributed to their hard work, camaraderie, and determination to do their best, not just for themselves, but for their TEAM. 🫶

A much-deserved THANK YOU goes out to our amazing coaching staff, Coach Vega, Coach Luna, Coach Bassett, and especially Coach Roebuck for fostering a positive environment and ensuring every athlete was given opportunities to improve and contribute. The four of you took advantage of every teachable moment, and every player on this team benefitted by learning from you this season. Our team would not have been able to finish our season 6-1 if it weren’t for the guidance, effort, and support you committed to all season long.

Honorable mentions to Coach De Jonge and Coach Buckley for your tireless work with our pitchers and catchers all season. We appreciate you!

To Graysen, Tysen, Cooper, Rhett, Jayson, Sam, Brody, Dax, Cameron, J.J., Jose, and Abraham… you should all be so proud of what you’ve accomplished together in the time you spent as the Visalia Gray 12U All-Stars. Congratulations to all of you on a wonderful season and a job well done! ⚾️

All smiles after a dominant 15-0 win over Riverdale for the first round of bracket play! The bats were as hot as the weather and one of our players, Rhett Rainey, hit his first career home run! 💣 Congratulations, Rhett!!

This 3-inning shutout victory advances us to the quarterfinals where we will battle against our other league competitors, Visalia Blue. Game is tomorrow at 3:30pm. Follow us on Gamechanger… it will be a good one!

Our team went 2-0 and won our pool to kick off our state tournament run! We started the week on Sunday with a battle against our league competitors, Visalia White, where we walked away with a 7-5 victory. Today we grinded out another W by defeating Bullard 5-4. The best part about these wins were that they were truly TEAM wins! 💪🏼

Now we await the results of the remaining pool play games to determine our seeding in the single elimination bracket play. Keep it up, Visalia Gray! 👏🏼

As part of the State Tournament Opening Day festivities, all of our players participated in at least one of the Skills Competition events and competed against the other 16 teams in the tournament. This year’s events were:
1) Throwing Accuracy
2) Around the Horn
3) Speed Racing
4) Home Run Derby

Today is Opening Day of the 2023 Central California Cal Ripken 12-70 State Tournament. We wish all 3 of our Visalia 12U All-Star teams the best as they compete amongst 14 other teams this week, all with a common goal of advancing to the Pacific Southwest Regional Tournament. Tomorrow our team will face off against the Visalia White All-Stars at 3:30pm.
