This is, without a doubt, the most meaningful piece I was blessed to create for an awesome person!
asked me to do a special piece for him that would honor his mom, who he lost last summer.

Her name? ROSE

I can only imagine how special she is to John.
But he asked me to make it in a way that would make him think of her every time he used it.

This was a design that I knew needed to be perfect!
This was a design that I wrestled over and redesigned several times over several months… until…

I found the perfect handle material - Honduran ROSEWOOD

Then the mosaic ROSE pins for the handle.

Then blue and yellow G10 liners for the colors of John’s logo!

Thank you so much, John! For allowing me to design this piece for you! I loved getting to deliver it in person!

Haven’t done a wood handle in quite some time and I forget how much I love how a wooden handle turns out!
