Fall is getting close, which means so is duck season! Here are a few reminders you need to know in order to ensure you have all the required licenses and certifications before duck season arrives: resident hunting licenses are $25; HIP (harvest information program) certifications are free...but you must inform the clerk selling you your license you wish to hunt migratory game bird...the letters HIP should appear on your license; the Texas Migratory Game Bird endorsement is $7; a federal duck stamp is $25 (plus fulfillment fees). All in, to be able to duck hunt as much as you want during duck season this year, you're looking at around $57.
