The road starts now.

This weekend, MVP South Shore Showcase Team LaMarca and MVP South Shore Showcase Team Fiore begin what will be one of the most demanding showcase schedules in the Northeast. Our goal is simple: put our players in front of as many college coaches and professional evaluators as possible while competing against some of the best talent in the region.

The journey begins at the Axcess Baseball Showcase and Firecracker Spring Championship Showcase, but that’s only the start.
This summer our players will compete at:
 ⚾ PBR Northeast Summer Championships ⚾ Diamond Nation Super 17 Week 2 ⚾ Prospect Select Boston Classic ⚾ Mid-Hudson Classic Showcase ⚾ Perfect Game Northeast World Series ⚾ Perfect Game Northeast Select Championship ⚾ Additional premier showcase and recruiting events throughout the summer

The gauntlet begins this weekend. Time to compete, represent, and earn opportunities at the next level.

commit Dylan Alt (Seaford 2026) takes home the prestigious Michael Capozzi Scholar Athlete Award & Scholarship at the Nassau County Awards Night.

Congratulations .18 on earning this incredible honor. Young athletes should listen to his speech and aspire to be the type of teammate, competitor, and person that Dylan has become.

The awards are earned on the field, but the respect is earned every day.

After a breakout 2026 season, Chris was named a Third Team All-American by D3baseball.com while also earning Second Team All-Conference honors.

🚨 MVP SOUTH SHORE ALUM ALERT 🚨

OF Daniel Reynolds ( MacArthur)

Congratulations to Daniel Reynolds on an outstanding season earning First Team honors after one of the most dynamic years in the region.

The sophomore outfielder hit .396 with a .482 OBP, collecting 38 hits, 28 runs scored, and 25 RBI while swiping 17 bases — ranking among the top base stealers in the NJCAA. His ability to impact the game in every aspect made him one of the toughest players to deal with all season long.

This is Reynolds second All-Region award as he earned Second Team All-Region recognition as a freshman.

In addition, this marks our 3rd Alumn earning collegiate awards this spring!

We’re proud to see all the hard work continue to pay off and excited to see where you land the next two years!

MVP SOUTH SHORE would like to congratulate on an unbelievable career at SUNY New Paltz.

One of the best players to play at SUNY New Paltz.

SS / P Matt Sarni (MacArthur / Levittown)

A 3x All-SUNYAC First Team selection, ABCA Region III All-Star, and one of the most decorated players in program history, Matt capped off his senior season by doing it all for the Hawks — starring at shortstop while continuing to dominate on the mound.

In 2026, Matt led SUNY New Paltz in multiple offensive categories including batting average (.368), hits (53), runs scored (47), stolen bases (26), and OPS (.967), while also contributing 14 strikeouts and 2 saves on the mound.

Matt finishes his career etched in the record books and joins an exclusive group of Hawks to ever earn 3 First Team All-Conference selections.

We are incredibly proud of the player, leader, teammate, coach and person Matt has become. Congratulations on an outstanding career — the MVP SOUTH SHORE family is proud of you!

Congratulations to MVP South Shore alum Chris Picarella on earning SECOND TEAM ALL-CONFERENCE honors at Maritime College 👏⚓️

Picarella put together an outstanding season, slashing .400/.517/.600 with a 1.117 OPS while totaling:
⚾️ 48 Hits
⚾️ 33 Runs
⚾️ 12 Doubles
⚾️ 4 HR
⚾️ 35 RBI
⚾️ 14 SB

Chris has also been a true Swiss Army knife defensively over the last two seasons, making an impact all over the field whenever his team needed him.

We’re extremely proud of Chris and all the work he’s put in to reach this level. The best is still ahead

A longtime standout for MVP South Shore, we couldn’t be more proud. Jack is a 2x All-Conference pitcher and a 2x All-Conference linebacker—an incredible achievement that speaks to his toughness, versatility, and relentless drive.

The ultimate competitor in every sense, it’s been special watching him dominate at such a high level in both sports. 🚨

Huge congratulations to Dino Danetti on his induction into the Levittown Hall of Fame.

A true pillar of our community, Dino’s story goes far beyond the field. As a retired firefighter who endured the unimaginable on 9/11, he represents strength, sacrifice, and selflessness at the highest level.

In Levittown, his impact is just as powerful. Dino has played a major role in building and supporting countless athletic programs, giving generations of kids the opportunity to compete, grow, and succeed.

For us, Dino is family. The founding father of the South Shore Travel Baseball program, he helped lay the foundation for everything we’ve built today. His work has never stopped—whether it’s grooming our baseball fields, coming down to support our boys, or making sure everything done the right way, Dino continues to show up every single day.

We owe a lot to Dino, and this honor couldn’t be more deserved.

Thank you for everything you’ve done—and continue to do—for this community. There is nobody more deserving.
