The St. William Swim Team will be holding online registration for new and current members between September 13th and October 15th.

All new registering swimmers must prove their ability to swim a non-stop 25yd. lap at practice and must be at least 7 yo. The age group is determined by age as of December 1st

Registration fee - $300.00 for St William the Abbot Parishioners, students of St William the Abbot School, and St William Faith Formation.

The registration fee is $350.00 for a non-Parishioners Family discount for 3 or more swimmers. 3 or more children will be 1/2 off the 3rd and 4th child. If you are a family of 3 or more swimmers you will need to email [email protected] for a discount code before you register.

*Please note that this increase is due to the rise in the cost of the pool time rental and swimmer insurance CYO has informed us they will strictly adhere to parish boundaries for registrants. This means that all joining the team must either live within St. William parish boundaries have attended St. William school or are registered St. William parishioners. Additionally, if you are in a "next door" parish, that does not have a swim team

Sharks, we will be attempting to set up a video stream of the meet. There are some questions as to the availability of WiFi at the pool, so we will not know until close to the meet. Please check the Facebook group later. If it is available it will be live on Facebook.

No Practice Today 12/2/2021

Sharks, unfortunately, there will be no practice this Thursday afternoon. The Nassau County Aquatic Center just advised us that the facility does not have power and their phone system is down.

Please let anyone you know who may not see our Facebook post or receive the email.

Today is the day we've all been waiting for. Our first practice of the 2021-2022 swim season. We'll be checking swimmers in for this first practice. 1 vaccinated masked parent can accompany their swimmer into Hofstra, assist in the locker room if needed and walk to the pool. However, during practice, parents will need to sit in the bleachers closest to the entrance.

If you are interested in coloring a placement for a homebound parishioner, please visit our website and simply download the art by clicking the thumbnail image and printing it on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Color it in and bring it to the first weekend of practice. We will laminate it and give it to the homebound for Thanksgiving.

1:00-2:00 (11 & up)

1 vaccinated masked parent can accompany their swimmer into the pool facility and may sit on the bleachers closest to the entrance.

Come with swimsuit, goggles, goggles and bathing cap.
