Today not only did I place 2nd in my first Jiu Jitsu competition but while on the podium Robert Montero belted me with my blue. Its so hard to find the words to express how I am feeling. I have worked so hard and today it all paid off. Jiu Jitsu is my therapy. It has changed my life in so many ways. The excitement I felt today when my component tapped with an armbar was overwhelming. None of this would be possible without my amazing coach and badass gym family. Robert I couldn't have done any of this without you. Thank you for always guiding me and pushing me and making me believe in my self again.
