Wow! What an incredibly fun project. The goal? Create a flared thumb on a Rev1x 12.75" outfield glove. The new 3D printed inserts were provided by the customer.

We started by removing all the laces, then carefully removed the inserts from the glove. Next we cleaned the glove with BallPlayersBalm®️ & applied some of our shop made Glove Armor conditioner.

The existing felt was surgically removed & sewn onto the new thumb insert featuring a 45° degree kick out near the top. It's a subtle but noticeable flair that can be seen in the final photo.

An excellent example of a Rawlings Sporting Goods Pro Preferred pitchers model. This 11.75" cleaned up beautifully with a little BallPlayersBalm®️ & a fresh set of laces. I have no idea what color these are but they were purchased from Cumberland Leather & I will be reaching out to try & get more. After the first coat of Glove Armor was applied I did a little reshaping to get a bit more pocket, then applied a second coat of conditioner.

Other than being very dry & a couple busted laces in the palm this Nokona Ballgloves was in amazing shape. We cleaned it up with BallPlayersBalm®️ & did a deep conditioning with Aussie conditioner before installing a fresh set of Japan Tan laces from Flat Bill Baseball Followed that up with a second round of conditioning using our hand poured Glove Armor shop made conditioner. This old high school mitt, circa 1994, is ready for Dad glove duties for Manny years to come! 'Merica!

This Wilson Baseball / Softball A2000 1786 came in exactly as shown. Dad did the lace removal & the cleaning, we installed the bright pink laces courtesy of & protected it with our shop made Glove Armor conditioner. We added a little custom touch with the Weave lacing pattern on the "H" Web at the customers request. (I know it's an "I" Web according to Wilson nomenclature it's an "H" Web)

This Wilson Baseball / Softball A1000 33" catchers mitt came through the shop for a full service re lace. After a thorough cleaning with BallPlayersBalm®️ we used Indian Tan laces from Flat Bill Baseball to keep that classic look. The final touch was a double round of conditioning utilizing our shop made Glove Armor. This dad glove is ready to continue catching bullpens for years to come.

Blue on brown looks incredibly clean! It's one of the greatest color schemes to bring a vintage glove into the modern era without losing its old school charm. That's exactly the vibe I was looking for when I rebuilt this GMVP 1275V outfield glove. Carolina Blue & Navy laces contrast just enough from the Dark Brown / Light Brown combo to really pop.

Cleaned with & conditioned with a combination of Leather Balm & our very own shop made Glove Armor conditioner has this classic ready for the many diving catches to come!

Cotton candy dreams! We brought new life to this D1 Platinum Series 11.25" infield glove. The pink laces from are the perfect compliment to the baby blue leather on this sweet looking mitt. We thinned out the heel padding while we had it apart for a more youth friendly closing feel. Cleaned with & conditioned with our shop made Glove Armor conditioner.

The posts may have slowed a little but the work certainly hasn't! This Classic catchers mitt came in for a refresh after an early season injury sidelined the young player. We got it all cleaned up with glove cleaner, did a small stitch repair by hand, & wove in some Carolina Blue laces to complete the transformation. Conditioned with our very own Glove Armor conditioner this gamer is ready to get back on the field.

Mizuno gloves continue to surprise me every time I open one up. The attention to detail, quality of construction, and quality components are very impressive, at all price points on the lineup. If you're in the market for a new or used glove, don't sleep on Mizuno.
