SSC Atlantic (Seabrook) is hiring!
We are looking to add a critical key holding closer position to our Member Services Staff. This is a customer facing position who handles 3 shifts. Roughly 5-6 hours per shift.
3 shifts under supervision of the General Manager and Member Services Manager.
1 shift is 10:30am-2:30pm (mid-day shift)
1 shift is 10:30am - 3:30pm on Thursday (mid day shift)
1 shift is 2:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday (closer shift)
15-17 hours per week to start
Job start date is immediate (1-2 weeks time-frame).
You must have flexibility to stay anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes after shift ends as needed. We like to have some crossover for communication between staff etc. We also might need coverage help for vacations or sick days etc a handful of times per year. This is a great way to start at SSC with room to grow for right person..

Job Summary:
Member Services Staff will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to SSC members, prospective members and guests. You will own the front desk duties. Strong computer skills a must. There is plenty to do here and we expect superior customer service skills from everyone on our team. We are looking to grow not only this location but future locations as well and this position can lead to Front Desk Manager, General Manager or Director roles in the future. The sky is the limit for hard working, responsible, dependable people. Simply put, we want people with the drive and energy to help SSC as we enter the next phase of growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
Open/Close the club.
Clean various parts of club.
Handle all front desk related activities via computers/phones/in person.
Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions during difficult conversations.
Check members into the system.
New member sign-up.
Take prospective members on tours.
Facilitate needed updates to member's accounts.
Handle cancellations.
Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to General Manager or Group Fitness Director as needed.
Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the front desk, club areas and machines.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Customer service background preferred.
Management experience highly desirable.
Leadership skills.
Flexibility week in and week out.
Basic computer proficiency.
A passion for fitness and health.
Upbeat and positive attitude!
Punctuality and reliability is a must.
Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member's expectations.
Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.
Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
College degree preferred.
Compensation:
Negotiable for focused and driven individual.
Raise after 6 months.
