Position Description: This position will be responsible for amenity cards issued to new members, rental guests and guests of club members. The Amenity Services Agent will also answer the Seabrook Island Club main number and respond to and transfer calls appropriately in addition to assisting with flyers/advertising of amenities and amenity events.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead by example and promote Seabrook Core Values, Characteristics, Employee Constitution and Decision Making.

• Make, issue and record all amenity cards.

• Appropriately account for all amenity card payments received and submit reports to accounting as needed.

• Greet all new members and guests with amenity and real estate information.

• Answer all phone calls and transfer appropriately, assisting callers as needed.

• Maintain current amenity information and have up to date knowledge of the club, its amenities and real estate companies.

• Work with rental companies to insure accurate and timely issuance of amenity cards for rentals.

• Must maintain the policy of this company to conduct operations in a manner that will prevent injuries to people and damage to property and equipment and that will comply with all applicable regulations for safety and health.

• Adhere to standards set by the Seabrook Island Club.

Job Requirement:

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Experience: 6 months to one year office service experience or customer service experience preferred.

Skills: Computer, fax machine, copy machines, and any other miscellaneous office equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Equipment to be used: Amenity Card machine, computer, fax machine, copier, postage machine.

Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require some lifting of up to 30 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machinery.

Requires normal range of hearing and vision. Requires ability to function professionally in a challenging demanding and time sensitive environment.

Position Description: To assist in the expediting and service of meals and achieve total member and guest satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete all opening and closing sidework for each shift and complete weekly cleaning duties as assigned by management.

• Attend all required staff meetings.

• Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and co-workers.

• Any tasks as assigned by a server captain, supervisor or manager.

Job Requirement:

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Experience: 6 months restaurant service experience preferred.

Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and interact professionally with guests and other employees required. Customer service personality, hard work ethic and willing to work cooperatively as part of team required.

Position Description: This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Racquet Sports with the creation and development of racquet sports programs and assisting with day-to-day operations of the Racquet Club.

Essential Job Functions:
Lead by example and promote the Seabrook Island Club Core Values, Characteristics, Employee Constitution and Decision Making.
On court instruction of private and group lessons for all ages and levels.
Create, develop, implement and evaluate the success of tennis and pickleball programs.
Constantly grow membership participation through expanded social events.
Create an exciting, fun environment for members and guests.
Assist with organizing play, lesson schedules, tournaments, and interclub events.
Create, develop and facilitate interactions between Seabrook Island Racquet Club and other clubs in the Charleston area.
Greet members and guests and assist the pros with introducing and selling tennis programs, clinics, tournaments and other special events as well as rates and packages.
Assist with match making system to ensure that members and guests always a positive court experience.
Troubleshoot problems and manage complaints while informing the Director of Racquet Sports.
Assist with merchandise displays, inventory levels and receiving merchandise as needed.
Know current merchandise, assist with hard goods product selection and actively promote sales of merchandise to members and guests.
Monitor shop supplies, bulletin boards, towels, coffee, Gatorade and other supply usage and inform supervisor of needs. Refresh these items as needed.
Know rates and current program schedule, sign up members/guests for events, book court reservation sheets, monitor sign ups and program binders.
Assist with routine court maintenance responsibilities as needed (brush, line, water) and have basic understanding of court watering system.
Complete any other tasks as assigned by the Director of Racquet Sports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma. College degree preferred.

Experience: Proficient playing and teaching skills required. College playing experience, three years teaching experience required unless WTA/ATP experience. USPTA/USPTR certification preferred. Playing ability of 4.0+ USTA rating required. General knowledge of retail and court maintenance preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Equipment to be used: Must be able to operate computer and other routine office machines. Racquets, balls, teaching equipment, court maintenance equipment including maintenance cart and court watering system.

Typical Physical Demands: Position required to be physically fit as strenuous teaching activity can occur for long periods of time (4 to 8 hours) under extreme conditions (temperatures reaching 100 degrees with high humidity) including walking, running, standing, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting. Court maintenance can include heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires a normal range of hearing and vision. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office, retail and tennis equipment. Assist the Facility Supervisor with larger maintenance projects for the facility as needed.

Job Requirements:

Education: High School diploma. Experience in the tennis/maintenance field preferred. Valid driver’s license required.

Education: Culinary Arts Degree preferred but negotiable depending on previous work history
Experience: Minimum 4 years progressive managerial responsibilities in a high volume club or hotel environment.
Skills: Good leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills are required. A working knowledge of computer programs is necessary.
