The Pirates played the Cruisers at home for a make up game that had been rained out earlier in the year. This was much better weather for sure! The Pirates lost in five innings, but there was lots of great action to watch, as they never gave up hope. Go Pirates!

Don't worry, Pirate Baseball has not been forgotten...

With Playoff excitement and Senior Nights,
Staying awake to post pics is quite the fight.

A horrible problem I do have with TOO many Pirates in TOO many sports doing TOO much awesome making TOO many pics which are TOO great to not share (which sometimes takes me TOO much time to get done....ugh!).

I may have had twins, but Pirate's produce an awful lot of 2's (too) for one person to keep up with all season long!

Thanks for the patience, and as Coach says in the dugout, "You're up next!"

(well after one more softball and maybe a tennis and soccer and track...but definitely before graduation! 🤣)

Chapter Two...the photos continue

What started as a simple photo request by Grandpa in 2014 developed into an adventure for a young “Photos by Isabel” shooting Pirates and Bears all over Washington State and into Canada. Many friends and fans have been made, which created a small problem... It is four years later and Isabel is ready for her turn on the other side of the lens. After much discussion how no one can replace the amazingly talented Isabel, it was decided I would do my best to continue the good deeds she began in the community. In order to keep her photos and stories true to her, Chapter Two (by me) is being written for each of her pages to continue the story of our youth building a stronger local community. If you have not seen Isabel’s work (Chapter One), please search Facebook for “by Isabel” and be prepared to get lost in great photos and stories for a while. Thank you for taking the time to support the great work these incredible kids put into making our community a better place. Check out a game, support their fundraisers, congratulate them on being scholar athletes. In a world full of news, chose to support the good type.
